Yogi tea wisdom

Self-reliance is the greatest art.

I couldn't have needed this reassurance more... Thanks tea haha! At the end of the day you're the only one you can depend on.. There's no point in listening to the doubts in your head. Just make it happen. That is all.

Hope you have a fabulous Saturday xoxo

Pumpkin Farm Visit!

On Thanksgiving weekend I had done something I hadn't done in years...Go to the pumpkin farm to get a pumpkin! It was such a nice day to look around the farm store, get some freshly baked pies and I bought some cute gourds for fall decor around the house...I plan to do a DIY on them. Stay tuned...

Here are some pictures...Thanks for visiting my blog :)

Toronto Vintage Crawl '14

Yo dudes and dudettes! So...I apologize I initally meant to post at least once a week but then school and life kind of got cray cray. In the meantime I did get to do some cool things like going to Toronto Vintage Crawl!

Vintage Crawl is an event that happens I think twice a year (well at least I'm hoping..) in Toronto. Vintage stores across the city open after hours until midnight. Some promotions go on and most of the stores I went into had some coool thangz happening. For example, some were handing out drinks, drankz(alcoholic beverages) and snacks to customers. One store even had a dj, t'was très bumpin.

Anywhoo... Me and my two friends went not really having any idea how it would go, but it was awesome. It basically combined two of my fav things drinking and shopping haha. Although I didn't buy as much as I planned the purchases I did get were still coool- a vintage anklet from India and some incense. It was kind of a last minute decision to go, but I think next time I'll map out what areas and stores I want to visit, because man did we do a lot of walking.

Remember to support your local business and buy vintage/used if you can...You'll own a unique piece no one else will have and one less item sent to the landfill!
